I really wanted the software to work as advertised, yet when it didn't and I downloaded it several times and reinstalled it several times it becomes frustrating.

Then when you document that you have Windows 8 - 64 bit will ALL THE CURRENT UPDATES, and an iPhone 4S with the lastest OS - and it will not connect without any support responding to my issue after days of waiting - well you be the judge.

Any computer is prone to data loss and no matter the reason for such a scenario, having backups of your data is always recommended.
