AAARRGGHH! Went searching back for EaseUS. EaseUS cost a little more, but it brought back ALL the images, ALL the videos, AND the one sound recording file on the chip.

It is not like it was corrupted, but it did not show up on the selection screen. Most of the folders it restored are empty.

I highly reccomend the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard (I was using the free edition). None that I've found. Worth the download, quick and easy to use.

Even you lost or broke iPhone, you won't lose data if you have a recent iTunes backup to restore from. Nothing in cons.

I think they may still exist in the iPhone backup file from before the restore. After searching, I found it is impossible to recover these photos without restoring the phone from that backup file, except using 3rd party software.
